KMT-LWA-HP HDPE Heat Shrink Tubing

KMT-LWA-HP is a cross-linked, high density polyethylene (HDPE) heat shrink tubing made from tough, modified polyolefins irradiated and cross-linked with a thin-walled structure. It also provides excellent abrasion protection and high performance insulation. Its homogeneous structure (uniform distribution of properties) results in good consistency and high performance, and the product is essentially free from defects, pinholes, lines, cracks or impurities.

The KMT-LWA-HP is semi-rigid and highly mechanically tough with high insulating properties, making our product a prime choice for electrosurgical equipment applications. It is particularly suitable for medical applications where lubricity, flexibility and excellent electrical insulation properties are required.

KMT-LWA-HP offers a cost-effective alternative to FEP while maintaining performance after gamma sterilisation. Electrical insulation, mechanical protection, stress relief, colour coding and identification can be provided for many medical components and devices.
