PTFE heat shrink tubing helps to extend product life by providing a protective layer that can withstand heat, shock, corrosion, moisture and other extreme conditions. Our PTFE and FEP tubing is water resistant, chemically inert and can be produced in a wide range of custom sizes and a range of shrinkage rates, making it the product of choice for medical and non-medical industries. PTFE heat shrink tubing is available in 2:1 and 4:1 shrinkage ratios (for use on mandrels or components with axial reducers). These heat-shrinkable tubes have an upper temperature limit of 260 °C and a lower limit of -200 °C, making them one of the widest operating temperatures available today.PTFE heat shrink tubing has excellent dielectric strength and is ideal for the encapsulation of wires and electrical components.
